Applicable for ALL Hotel and Medical crew from all countries except Philippines, India, Indonesia, China, or Brazil. You should complete your Hotel Basic Safety Training online at RCGU. The course will be available on your RCGU dashboard 30 days prior to joining.
a. Crew from Philippines, India, Indonesia, China, or Brazil are required by their local Maritime authority to complete STCW training issued within their own country before joining.
b. Marine positions are required to be in possession of all applicable STCW training certificates as required by their position. All certificates must be valid beyond their contract.
c. Your Security Awareness (SECALL) or Ship Security Awareness Training for Seafarers with Designated Duties (DSDSEC) should be available prior to joining onboard for New Hires. You may visit the following websites:
