Cancellation of Schengen/UK/Canadian visa appointments usually occurs due to one of the following:

• No documents were submitted 7 business days prior to the visa appointment.
• Incomplete documents 7 business days prior to the visa appointment.
• Crew members did not respond to our emails/calls, or didn't confirm attendance for the visa briefing or visa appearance.
• The online application form was not completed five days prior to the visa appointment.
• Cancelled assignment.
• Joining port was changed.
• The POEA contract is not processed due to discrepancies or incorrect information in your contract, and WIS version 2 needs editing.
• Your record in POEA is watch listed.
• There's a risk your visa will not be released on time; thus, an assignment adjustment will be requested.

Submit your visa requirements as soon as you complete the online application form in VAT. However, you should submit them to RCM at least two months in advance to allow the RCM team to review them and notify you if additional documents need to be submitted.
